Buying in brief
What «acqua alta» is
A few times a year the water rises in the canals. We check how high the ground floor sits and whether water has ever come into the house.
Can I keep a boat?
Some houses have their own mooring. A place on the canal is arranged separately; we will show you how.
What buying costs on top of the price
Registration tax, the notary and the agency fee. We tell you the sum for the specific flat in advance.
What a compromesso is
The preliminary contract: price, date and deposit. The final deed (rogito) is signed at the notary.
